PIPEON Project Strengthens Collaboration With Two Key Workshops in Norway and Hungary

On the week 10-14 November 2025, PIPEON partners gathered in Bærum, Norway, for an intensive two-day workshop hosted by the local project team. The meeting brought together experts across engineering, robotics, and water systems to assess progress, exchange insights, and plan the upcoming technical activities.

The exchanges in Norway demonstrated the strong momentum the project is building as PIPEON advances towards innovative solutions for underground pipe condition assessment.

In parallel, the project’s technical leadership travelled to Budapest for a dedicated round of PIPEON meetings. This gathering provided an important opportunity to connect with local partners, review work package progress, and align on the upcoming development and integration phases.

PIPEON warmly thanks its hosts — UNEXMIN GeoRobotics Ltd. and Bay Zoltán Kutatóközpont — for their hospitality and excellent coordination throughout the visit. The meeting was further strengthened by contributions from representatives of TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), The University of Sheffield, and HEROBOTS.

The discussions in Budapest confirmed a shared commitment across the consortium to accelerate development and continue pushing technical boundaries.
